just bought an 06 ridgeback, put in new batt. & died an hour later, think its the stater/rotor ??

I wouldn't say that, new battery with a good charge is probably going to take loner than an hour to drain. Could be a lot of things, loose connections, short, fuel issue, cam sensor!

It dies do you have lights ? Can you be a little more detailed?
