Had the 585 installed finally last week. The bike definitely sounds different and does pull harder. The sound is substantially different. Need to do some more work on figuring out the ignition settings on the Thunderheart.
Have it on 3 now but didn't take the time to change program yet. Some serious backfiring going on at deceleration. And acceleration too. Carb adjustment has been made but may need fine tuning as well.
Another thing- not related to the CAM change- battery is not maintaining proper voltage while running (12.1) and bike is not starting back up once I stop it. No real shocker to us.
The mechanic told me it would be a replacement of the ????? for about 150 bucks and that should keep the bike starting back up reliably.
Any suggestions on this particular part? :bang:
