Im not sure who can relate to this but as I sit here in Uijongbu South Korea, into my 3d month of a year long tour here. I've just been released from the Infantry Battalion I have been in since my arrival and moved up the Division HQs to serve the rest. The snow falling, tempurature in the mid 20s and Im over looking the 1st tee of a frozen golf course, where several Koreans are actually teeing off... Im reminded why they call the Military Service a sacrafice... Im sacraficing alright.... my poor chopper is sitting in storage back in Oklahoma, where last year on this day I was actually riding down the road on my way to Texas and it was 65 degrees...
But seriously folks, while you put your knees in the breeze around these holidays, weather it be 70 degrees or you have to put on a ski mask to do it while your eyes freeze shut... Remember all our brothers and sisters across the globe, counting the days till they get back and saddle up on their own Steel Horse again.
Proudly serving for all Americans!
