4" Forward Control Extensions-Finally!!

Got a question, what is/are the DOT regulations for this type of product? And I'd like to know more about the approval process, just for my own knowledge bank... Never thought about DOT....
And just a reminder, let's stay civil, not that this is out of control yet.

Its not going to get out of control on my part Tim, the first post was in third person and I had no idea that he was the actual owner of DM Custom Machine. Since I never made a set of extensions for a single member of this forum due to the fact that I am a dentist not a machinist, I just wanted to help the tall guys out by sharing what I developed for myself and Postman. I was always happy to help every member that PM'd me to get a set of templates for themself. Since the post was in third person, I just wanted to let him know that there was no need to imply that I was "Producing" a inferior product to that of DM Custom Machine. Then the fact came out that he was actually the owner and that Kaptain was no longer involved. I think this whole conflict could have been avoided if he had opened a new thread and stated the excellent design features of his product and left me out of it. All I have ever done on this forum is try to be a help to all that ask, just as Brian(brhanson) stated. We loaned him a set of the early prototypes that did not have sufficient "clocking" for a comfortable ride.
I wish his company the best, and hopefully he will be able to take care of the tall guys on this forum that want to stretch out and get the weight off their tail bone!

As stated above I have both sets in my possesion right now and in person they look so close. I've scraped the shit out of every damn peg set I've had on this thing and those 6 inch plates arent at all. Nobody cared who did what here and everyone was appreciative of both parties. Like Abaco stated above in nicer terms you were better off leaving the tape over your mouth and anyone can see by reading through this whole post what happened.

Update: Unfortunately for some reason the email link dmccustommachine@aol.com was rejected. I have also PM'd Kaptain directly last week as well but no response yet. I'm pretty sure from threads he's out and about with Raywood but any help getting in contact for these cool extensions would be appreciated. Thanks

The owner of DMCustomMachine had some serious health issues and decided enjoying the remainder of his life was more important than banging away at machines all day, good choice, so they are no longer making them. If there is truly a high enough demand for them he has given us the opportunity to continue making them but honestly I am not really seeing the demand yet.
I wish I was out running around with Raywood but I'm stuck in my hole sourcing, making and RnDing parts for everyone's BDs. My apologies shadrix but I don't recall seeing a PM, doesn't mean you didn't just don't recall it.

After you introduce yourself, I'd recommend contacting Mr. Wright. He can fab you up a set of brackets to extend your controls out as far as you need them. And they look good too.

I also tried to reach Kaptin but his profile is limited to secret squirrel access so I couldn't post to his profile a request. If anyone is in the know and wants to let him know I am looking for K9 stuff and the 4" forward control extension then that would be great. But I read or heard he stopped getting or making them.
