I think some people severely under estimate the handling of the bikes with the 300 and 330 rear tires. I'm not there yet just because I don't have much seat time on my bike yet but I've seen pictures of Hoat on his K-9 letting it ripin the twisties. Granted they take some getting used to but they can hold their own with the narrower tires... I rode a V Rod with a 240 on the back and my Ridgeback is not quite as nimble as the V Rod but if you are looking to eat the twisties, buy a Ducati.
I ride my bike in the mountains of western NC all the time. I can keep up with most folks on Harleys in the turns. My buddy rides a VROD and he gets a good bit ahead of me and my other buddy rides a Ducati and leaves us both in the dust but I just do my thing.

The dealer here in town has a Wolf. I keep meaning to go by and take it for a test ride but haven't gotten the chance yet. I prefer choppers but it looks awesome.

If tire size is why you buy a bike, then perhaps a RB is what you need.

If you want a bike that handles very well, the wolf may be the answer, that bike handles exceptionally well. I am not into bar hopping nor burnouts, nor do I care if you are impressed with how big my rear tire is, I ride, I camp and the bike needs to perform.

The wolf is a long distance performer as it handles very well, power everywhere, easy clutch, ergonimics are well thought out, ride is smooth,
and this is a riders ride. Could I ride this bike 700 miles a day and live with it? Hell yes.
Could I ride this to the local bar and then to the next bar and so on? Yes.

Ride the Wolf and you will not notice the tire size as this bike and tire size are well thought out.

Tire size is not important to me. I would also never buy a bike just because of the tire size, nor how I thought others would percieve how the bike looked. All around rider performance is the most important to me. 700 miles in a day, and then again the next, now we are talking.

Just my opinion.

see ya
