The 08 bikes do not have a cam position sensor. What you are looking for is the Crank Position sensor and that is located on the front of the motor. There are two plugs one is the stator plug which is a push in type plug and the Crank position Sensor is held in place by a small screw.

If you need a new sensor let me know I have a new spare one that I can sell you for $75.00 shipped

Tried to demount Front light - think the bulb is gone bad.Low beam don-t work, jumps steady to high beam.
screwed out the small screw s (two) at the bottom of the headlight.
No moving at the front sheet before the Glass.
Gave some lubricant between lamp and ring.
What is to do to bring the front ring and the reflector out?
Want to change the bulb / mount a daymaker.

If you haven't had it off in a long time it's a pain. Use some rubber latex gloves to help you get a good grip on the beauty ring.

Good luck, and you haven't installed that Daymaker? I got you that almost 2 years ago! Haha

If you can reach over or under the handlebars and grip the ring with the tips of your fingers with the rubber gloves you can get more pressure and grip. Should spin right off. Everyone should know that you have more strength pulling than trying to push on it.

You dont have to be a engineer or rocket scientist to get this done. Sorry for the late picture.

Front light works till end of last year without issues - Told I will change if its gone bad. Lots of miles on the daymaker - little less to 2 Years it is storaged - looks like brand new -HaHaHa.
Last year i was vacated with housebuilding - moved in february this year. More than six months hard road - but its done
Seems like its going better forward for my lady. Hope she lets her nightmare behind and forget it any day.
Bike season starts for me first of April.
And a Bulb will not stop the first ride.......
 maybe we come together in June....:chopper:
