Saw this on EBAY wanted to pass it along. Looks like a good deal I don't know the seller and can't vouch for shit. I just thought the price was right but bike looks dirty or its just the crap pictures.

If your looking - Question the miles. It has a Dakota Digital and could have just left at zero. Bike does look like it has more than 2800 miles or it's never been cleaned.

You know it just blows my mind to see people do this to themselves. If the bike is mechanically sound he could spend a day cleaning and polishing, stick a 15,000 thousand dollar price on it and let someone beat him down to say 13,500 and for just 8 hrs cleaning and detailing he could pick up and additional 3 grand or so. People. Personally I wouldn't give him 5 grand for the thing.

Basically, if you can't inspect the bike in person and do a compression test, look at the oil color, check the tires and brakes and most importantly of all ride the bike at highway speed to check handling and transmission, you're taking a big chance!

EBay only guarantees that there is a legal title nothing else!

Even if you have a trusted friend or mechanic who can check out the bike for a modest fee, keep in mind depending on your location you may well have to pay $1000 or more for shipping!

I've turned down many bike deals where I've seen the bike in person because I just didn't like the condition that the owner kept the bike in. These are expensive bikes and if an owner doesn't take pride in his ride do you really think that he wrote it or maintained it properly while he was owning it?

I don't know anyone that will let you test ride a big dog unless you showed up on another big dog. I've bought two without saddling up, first was from a dealer Dream Machines ain't a chance on God's green earth your on that without paying.

There was a guy on here that let someone take his dog for a test ride and it wound up totalled.

If and when I sell mine, even if the guy RideS a Harley he ain't riding the dog. There's only two people that have ridden mine one is my father and the other owned a big dog that I rode with frequently.

I'll never forget pulling out of the parking lot on the big dog, that first right turn into the street was very wide! I don't have faith that anyone will take the care needed to try and ride a 9 foot chopper For their first time if they don't own it. That was a 250 rear and a 300 is Mich different so no chance

Guess I got lucky! Went down to just take a look and he said go ahead and take it out, I was a nervous wreck but besides the turning radius, didnt ride too much different that my old 02 Softail. I'd let someone only if they had cash in hand!!!

Sorry, but no one is taking my Big Dog or my wife for a test ride, just ain't happening. Now the wife might be negotiable if you had cash in hand...... Shoo
I'm the same ;) , I did not tried the one I bought, owner just started it up and I heard the engine running: OK for me, must say to be honest that I was introduced with a friend who knew the buyer so I guess you are more confident when you buy something that way
These motorcycles are not the same in driving as a Harely or other custom bikes so I won't let anyone else drive it (except a friend who has one)

So, no one else will get my bike I'm to crazy about it and honestly the first time I tried a K9 it wasn't easy but it gave me such thrill that I wanted one, I was lucky that my friend trusted me enough to try his BD
