2006 Pitbull clutch hand Lever failed, now no clutch.

Hey guys. I was rolling down the road on my 2006 BD Pitbull and grabbed my clutch lever to downshift. In the middle of pulling in my clutch lever, it felt like a cable broke. However as you know, these bikes have a hydraulic clutch.

There's no oil leaking from the primary.

My clutch is the original clutch from 06 and has about 5,500 miles on it.

What do you think this is?

Correction, fluid is leaking from the front of the primary. I thought it was engine oil over the last couple of days. When I smelled it the first time it smelled like engine oil and it was dark. But now that it's leaking on fresh clean concrete on the side of the road, it's definitely fluid from the primary... Would still love your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you.

Its does not have a hydraulic clutch it has a cable

Yeah, it's not hydraulic. My first guess is that the cable broke down at the actuator. The stock cables had a habit of doing that.

When your in there, replace the throwout bearing with the heavy duty bearing thats available.
