If you have an 05 you have restrictors between the intake and the heads. That is unless someone has already remove. From a performance stand point a 2 into 1 exhaust is your best bet. You will also have the smaller intake and exhaust valves in the 05s. That again is unless someone has already made the upgrade.

Just the opposite here, my 2010 FLHRC (Fuel Moto 2-1-2, stage 1 AC and PCV) will run circles around the BD. Dog seems to run OK but it doesn't have the low or high end the HD does. Seems like it takes a long time for the motor to wind up. Haven't checked for restrictors yet and it has the shorty E carb.

I have to agree, I expected much more from my dog. Unfortunately the dogs doctor (me) is getting his medical license from the internet and hasn't finished the course :lol:

Be prepared to wait. Ordered mine on March 8 and was told 4 weeks but knowing some others have waited longer I figured on 8 weeks. Called them earlier this week and was told they lost my heat shields and would have to make new ones, and they would send exhaust out as soon as the heat shield were made. I ordered them in chrome. Guess they are busy.
