I’ve seen 2003’s have a higher price due to the bike not having the Bigdog electrical issues. From the hand finger controls to the EHC issues.

2003 was the last year a ton of OEM HD parts switched out with Bigdog parts. Plus that's the last year BDM used Heart EHC's. the 2004 was the first year Sheldon had the brain storm he could do it better in house than electronic companies could. Plus 03 bikes had the S&S 107 Super Sidewinder with tapped heads for compression releases if you wanted to install them. If you wanted a open primary it requires a 1.25'' offset ring and the same open primary that fits the 2003 HD Soft tail custom.

Also a 2003 registered bike is easy to register in Europe... those fall under the old laws before the EU “EPA” laws....

They must not be buying them up to fast there are tons for sale on Craigslist that have been for sale months - a couple of years

Swedes like newer bikes, their laws are more relaxed... for the rest of us poor Europeans it’s different. And it will take few more years for them to buy all 35.000 Big Dogs also they don’t pay too much...
