Shop around, take lots of advice. The majority of the members on this site will have a lot of imput on the pipe situation. I can't help you there, I'm still looking for some pipes myself. I'm trying to be different in that decision. Good luck in your search.:2thumbs:

A 2 into 1 pipe will give you the best performence but I personally don't like the sound or look. So for me its always a a 2:2 pipe. I prefer them short but with that you battle decel pop.

Go Long Shot Vance and Hines. Makes the bike look longer and sure sounds nice. You might have to re-jet the carb or tweak it a bit?
Congrats on the Ride. Me like:2thumbs:

Very nice ride and love the paint. It appears to be clean and well taken care of. On the pipes, you are more than likely going to be better off on performance with the 2 into 1 as far as riding range. 2 into 2 are more for the upper range that normally is not visit so much. The 2 into 1 will give you more bottom end torque and put the power where you will most likely use it.

One of the good things is that with it being an older model, if you really have to change those pipes, you can find a great variety in 2 into 1 and 2 into 2 than the newer RSD ones.

The deal doesn't sound bad at all and if you are happy and do not feel like you entered the wrong bar into the Castro District of San Fran and came out walking strange, then enjoy the smiles and miles even more. :D
