I put the 3M paint protection kit on my rear fender to protect the paint from the P pad. BD sells the rear fender piece for around $40. It will be easier than waxing the hell out of it all the time.

:D You can get a clear plastic coating to put on your back fender, that's what mine has. Also the hubby has a bigdog ppad for his k9 (believe he got it off ebay and was used on a ridgeback) and that's comfy. I can ride on that for a few hours. As far as a little one though, UGH, I got welts on my ass after riding a couple hours...NO GOOD! Wouldn't it be more safe to add a sissy bar, even if it's just for the passenger and take it off when you are done? This is my opinion but maybe it also depends on the weight/size of the girl. I'm only 110 pounds.

Guys,
just impose a weight and age limit for your passengers : not more than 125 lbs and not older than 30 and I promise you, there will be no mark on the fender ...........:roll::roll::roll:
:argue: WOW what does weight have to do with age?! I'm OVER 30 and I can PROMISE YOU I DON'T MAKE MARKS ON THE FENDER:angry:
