Anyone have any leads on where I can find a frame?
This isnt going well...went from paint to needing a frame? Sounds like an accident. Hopefully nobody was hurt. Is this the photobombers bike?

McClouds will be your best bet I think. They might have one.

What about that guy in Alabama with that disaster of a mastiff? Although I can't remember if that was an 05 or 06? They went to a 300 tire in 06 or 07?

Donna has 12 in stock, $1400 shipped. This is the bike I fixed the frame crack in last year. My fix still looks good, but it's broke about 3'' further up, where the trans mount is welded to the frame on both sides. I can cut the back of the tube off and drive a solid rod up in the frame and plug weld it, but if I can find a frame for less the Donna has, I think that would be the best option.

Oh, and here's something else I found. Belt pulley was tight, but at some point in it's life it had been loose.

It cracked on both sides?

One of those cracks is right where Brew's bike cracked at the back of the frame.

Sounds like its new frame time, 3 cracks on one frame all within 12 months is a sign.....could be a sign he needs to stop riding this through the woods though I suppose.

Is this a BDM frame? Just curious

You guys think $1,400 for a frame is high? I have never bought one but how many times can you fix that frame for that amount of money. I realize there are other cost involved such as paint and labor to build the new bike. Maybe it's time to part that one out and look at something else.

The shipping can't be cheap.
Sorry, I do think $1400 is fair. But it still hurts the butt a bit. Then ya gotta add the paint labor to move all the parts.

I've been looking at frames lately and they are anywhere from $600 for a stock Harley frame to 1400 is generally the high custom frames. You can get mid grade Paugacho chopper frames for the $800-900 range.

Flyrite chopper frames are about $1300'ish

I wouldn't go cheap on the frame. Quality and track record would be my driving factors.
Wouldn't disagree there...thats kinda why I'm Curious to know if this mastiff frame is a BDM Frame.

I can attest to the sub-par quality on those frames made in house. Personally I won't buy another K9 with a BDM frame. Not being a hater just going off personal experience.

I believe it is a BDM frame. I know it's not a DT or RT. The upper motor mount bolt goes through the frame and threads into an aluminum cone shaped nut.

You mean the bike? I’d hate myself selling a bike to some poor bastard knowing the frame is toast... if you sell the bike stating it has a broken frame the value of the bike is nothing...

How do I get ahold of Donna looking for a frame myself thanks in advance
