I think the numbers are a little low also.Hell they run 100 are a little more with pipes and jet change. All that for 6 horses sounds a little low to me. Sounds like it needs some jetting changes and get rid of them big stock baffles.

General consensus seems to be with the motor work performed that we came up a little short of expectations. I felt the same way,.......just didn't get the hold on feel it in the seat of my pants thrill I thought I would after spending a considerable amount of money. I just ordered a new set of the Big City Thunder baffels to see what we pick up with those installed. Do the jets currently installed, (33 & 76) sound correct? Total timing at 28 degrees?

Loujr I'm running a 33 inter. and a 78 main in my xxx and i have no work done just the carb. and Mean Mother 2 pipes. And mine is a 05 with the smaller valves. You should really be getting more than 106 hp after all that work.

Air fuel is lean for peak power. 12.5-13 is what you want. I also agree on the pipes and extended air cleaner.

looks like he is getting 12.5-13 at peak power. It looks to me from the A/F readings that he is too lean on the intermediate but thats not going to get his HP figures up. Maybe the clutch isn't holding?

Do you ahve the money to spend? If so get a good set of two into ones. I think some guys are running the r&b or r&d race two into ones or something like that. Some one will tell you the correct name and clue you in a little more about them shortly.
This is very true, :2thumbs:

Have you done anything else with this?

I would put in 33/78 jets and take out your baffles for a run then take off your air cleaner for a second run

I would have thought after that work you could still hit 110hp even without a 2 into 1 pipe.

I would hope something else is wrong

Did you happen to have the bike on the dyno before the work was done?

I haven't done anything else at this point,....I did recieve the new Big City Thunder baffels,..........just haven't had the chance to install them yet. I will get them installed and try a few more pulls on the Dyno with the changes recommended here. I mean looking at other peoples numbers for bikes with less work done and even smaller cubic inch motors,........I kinda feel real disappointed???

Well,..I need some honest opinions please? Just got my bike back after having the following work done;
S&S 600 cam installed
Deck the jugs 10.6 to 1 compression
New valve springs
New rings
New Thunder heart ignition
New Bandit Clutch installed
New Thunder Jet installed
Running V&H Big radius pipes, will full baffels

Dyno numbers came back at:
106.31 Horsepower
119.63 Torque

I live in Delaware,.....sea level, test done at 82 degrees F
Are these numbers good, not so good,.......or where they should be???
Well the latest is, I had the old baffels removed and installed the Big City Thunder baffels, also changed the jetting in the carb. Little larger main jet. The new numbers came back at this:
Horsepower 119
Max Torque 126
Had to pick the bike up with a trailer as it was threatening rain today,.......but can't wait to see how much of a difference this made!!! :whoop:

R&B Racing pipes. There is a couple of models people use here. Pro pipe and R&B Racing with a backslash.

RB Racing

The RB Racing pipe is the best. My friend works for them and I recently tested the prototype for their improved 2-1 Black Hole Spyder. The original prototype is now permanently on my Road Glide (black powder coated). These guys know their shit and make the best pipe on the market. They don't worry as much about dyno sheets as they do about performance. I've been talking with them about putting their pipes on my Mastiff but I need to come up with some $$$ first.

WOW nice jump. You should put a RB racing pipe on that now.
I think John Sachs said somewhere on here one of his customers took off the V&H and picked up quite a bit
