Well, I want to give everyone an update on the wheel spacers and thank everyone for their time and effort in helping me out. Well, after Eric from HDM and I discussed sizes of my wheel spacers. It seemed mine weren't right. And Carlos thank you for the factory set you sent me, and all mine were very close to your's but your's still threw the rear tire to the right of the center of the swing arm. But I did use them for the part you'll read in a minute. I would also like to give Marky Mark a big shout out also, he was kind enough to send me a bag slam full of spacers to see if any of them would work. I'll be mailing them back shortly if work calms down, had 6 maintenance guys since going on vacation quit on my shift so we all having to do our part to work over and try to cover their sheduled days. But in the end, it was Mr. Wright that came to the rescue, and I haven't forgot about you just working third and overtime, its been hard getting to post office before they close at 4 pm. I ended up having mine and carlos' spacers cut down on the brake side of the wheel. that way I can send a pair off to get chromed while still being able to ride. I will have to get you Shannon to make another 2.000 one for me tho, but no rush. The one from swing arm to caliper mount is now .280, then caliper mount to bearing is now .340 and Mr. Wright had to make me one for the pulley side. Actually he made 2 but I ended up using the 2.000 from the bearing to the swing arm on that side. Well, as i lined the back tire I noticed the drive belt was rubbing the side of the transmission housing. So, with the help of Eric I bought both of the pulley spacers he has to offer. The one that goes between the hub and pulley. I tired the thickest one first and it put the belt to far out running off the side of the pulley. Then as i changed to the thinner one I noticed the opening for the hub wasn't big enough and the outer part of it was bigger than the hub, so 400 dollars later after leaving home depot I got it cut down and opened the inner hole to fit the hub. Got it all put back together and adjusted my clutch even tho I don't think I have it 100 percent right, went for a ride nothing huge maybe 20 miles just to check it out some. I will add pictures when i can, but wanted everyone to know I actually got it done and the tire or rim is now in the center of the swing arm and seems to be riding pretty good.
again thank you Shannon, Eric, Carlos and Mark, I appreciate everything y'all did in helping. Truly a great group of guys.
