Who all on here has an 06 Mastiff? I need help and have tried high and low to find out but cant really get what i need because when these bikes were built they just kinda threw rear wheel spacers in them. But i was wondering if anyone with an 06 Mastiff could tell me what size your rear wheel spacers are. Looking from the rear of the bike left to right, there should be 2 on the left 1 on the right. One of the 2 on the left is located between the swingarm and caliper mounting bracket, the other on the left side will be between the caliper mounting bracket and the rear wheel bearing, the 1 on the right will be between the pulley bearing and the swingarm. If anyone has there rear wherl off this weekend please hit me up with the size of these.

Thanks you,
Terry

Okay Rider 64 attached is a picture that contains all three used spacers that I replaced on my 2006 Mastiff. The first spacer on the picture (left to right) is the one that goes on the outside the between the Swing Arm and the caliper mounting bracket and the bad boy is 1 inch hole by 29/64 wide. The next spacer on the picture (Left to Right) picture is the one that goes between the caliper mounting bracket and rear wheel bearing and that bad boy is 1 inch hole and 25/64 without the ridge and total with the ridge is 7/16ths. The Big one is the one that goes on the right side of the wheel between the the pulley and the swing arm, it is 1 inch hole and 1inch by 5/8ths wide not including the ridge with the ridge it is 1 inch and 43/64ths. I used a digital caliper so those numbers should be gospel. If you want this in inches or MM instead of fraction let me know and I'll measure them again.

Thank you so much. Now i have something to go by. I measured mine with a regular set of calipers and mine measured:
Swingarm to caliper- .200
Caliper to bearing with lip-.440
Bearing to swingarm-1.748
When i get to a calculater I'll convert your numbers. Again thank you.

Seems all my spacers are different than yours????
Where did you buy the replacement spacers from?

The fender has to be off, my first spacer is smaller and my second is just a bit bigger but the 2 together is still smaller than your left 2 combined, and my tire still hits the right side of fender. So my tire is sitting more to the left in between the swing arm, and still rubbing fender???? Guess im removing my fender my next few days off and seeing if it can be adjusted to sit more to the right???

Those spacers are the ones the Bike came with. At about 900 miles or so the rear bearing went bad that every time I made a left turn it would squeal. I could not get the wheel off, I had to cut the axle between the swing arm and the Belt Pulley. The axle would only come out in two pieces through the left side. I ordered new ones from BDG. Yes BDM had parts back then 2006, I could have taken it to San Antonio for warranty work but I decided to do it my self. The ones BDM sent me were the same size so I put the bike together and have not had an issue for 14 years. Before BDG went under I bought many extra parts which I still have just in case.

If you did not buy your bike new and got a used one it could possibly be that the previous owner put different size spacers, or did not assemble it the way it's supposed to go.

What year is your Mastiff. Mine is a 06, rear tire is 250/40/18. If your is newer than 06 then I would think that the 300 tire would take different size spacers. If yours is an 06 send me your address via PM or text at 956-379-0499 and I will give you the used set that I have. I have another new set but those I will keep just in case.

Well, I want to give everyone an update on the wheel spacers and thank everyone for their time and effort in helping me out. Well, after Eric from HDM and I discussed sizes of my wheel spacers. It seemed mine weren't right. And Carlos thank you for the factory set you sent me, and all mine were very close to your's but your's still threw the rear tire to the right of the center of the swing arm. But I did use them for the part you'll read in a minute. I would also like to give Marky Mark a big shout out also, he was kind enough to send me a bag slam full of spacers to see if any of them would work. I'll be mailing them back shortly if work calms down, had 6 maintenance guys since going on vacation quit on my shift so we all having to do our part to work over and try to cover their sheduled days. But in the end, it was Mr. Wright that came to the rescue, and I haven't forgot about you just working third and overtime, its been hard getting to post office before they close at 4 pm. I ended up having mine and carlos' spacers cut down on the brake side of the wheel. that way I can send a pair off to get chromed while still being able to ride. I will have to get you Shannon to make another 2.000 one for me tho, but no rush. The one from swing arm to caliper mount is now .280, then caliper mount to bearing is now .340 and Mr. Wright had to make me one for the pulley side. Actually he made 2 but I ended up using the 2.000 from the bearing to the swing arm on that side. Well, as i lined the back tire I noticed the drive belt was rubbing the side of the transmission housing. So, with the help of Eric I bought both of the pulley spacers he has to offer. The one that goes between the hub and pulley. I tired the thickest one first and it put the belt to far out running off the side of the pulley. Then as i changed to the thinner one I noticed the opening for the hub wasn't big enough and the outer part of it was bigger than the hub, so 400 dollars later after leaving home depot I got it cut down and opened the inner hole to fit the hub. Got it all put back together and adjusted my clutch even tho I don't think I have it 100 percent right, went for a ride nothing huge maybe 20 miles just to check it out some. I will add pictures when i can, but wanted everyone to know I actually got it done and the tire or rim is now in the center of the swing arm and seems to be riding pretty good.

again thank you Shannon, Eric, Carlos and Mark, I appreciate everything y'all did in helping. Truly a great group of guys.

Well glad you got it figured out now! Hopefully that fixes everything now and get many trouble free miles.

Still seems odd you are that far from original sized spacers but if it works it works. Adding chrome finishing to the parts does slightly change it all, maybe that's all it was.

I bet your happy now.
I'm happy with the work and the help to figure it out. Still worried about the belt tension and the clutch adjustment part tho. But as long as I clock a few hundred miles before the gathering and maybe just have to adjust a few things I'll be very happy then. lol

Good to hear that you got your Dog back on the road. Don't know what went wrong with the alignment on your bike, but whatever did is history. BTW, I do have different wheels than the stock wheels on my bike, but when I ordered the wheels I had to send them the hubs to make sure they would fit. I never sent them the spacers just the hubs and when the wheels arrived the hubs were already installed. So I used the stock spacers and later on I took off the spacers, brake caliper and mount, front motor mount, and all of the Baker Open Drive Primary and sent it out for chroming. Baker told me not to chrome Open Primary but I did anyway and it worked just like it was meant to be chromed. Again glad your riding again, Stay safe
