06 K9 shutting down

Bike has had the EHC rip kit done a few years ago, has new coil, new crank position sensor, new ignition control module. Bike just randomly shuts off going down the road, but will fire right back up when I cycle the kill switch or the key switch. I'm about to my wits end with this thing, have seen several posts about this same issue, but haven't seen the fix. Thinking about sending the ehc out to get tested. I can't duplicate the problem by shaking the key, moving wires, or shaking the bike. The only shop that would work on it around me closed up, so I'm on my own. Anyone have this problem and figure out what it was? Thanks

I also have 2006 k9 that does same thing.

Check the key switch and check the battery terminals are tight.
Check headlight bucket for bad old socket connection to headlamp.
Momentery interruption to power can cause this.
Will it restart of you turn the key off and on while going down the road?

Hazard lights flash and shuts down after
Welcome from NJ,
You should start your own thread on this so it doesn't get confused with what 06bigdogk9 is posting. Do what he did and state what you actually have done so far if anything. The more info the better. Do what Jersey Big Mike suggested especially the battery connections.

I had this problem on my k9, mine was a loose wire to the coil. Mine would shutdown while running down the road randomly , I could cycle the key while still rolling and it would fire right back up
Hmmm but when yours shut down due to loose coil connections did it also shut lights off?? Did you notice emergency flashers blinking?

When mine done it the speedometer would drop to zero and the tach lights would flash, reach down and turn key off and then back on, hit start button and it would fire right back up. Drove me nuts, never new when it was going to happen. I could drive all day and nothing and then the next time it might do it two are three times.

Ok.. maybe you just now are of headlights. For me I can't recall if my speedo dropped to zero since I never look at that part lol but did notice tach sorta pulsing. Tell me again what you think was the issue!
