Had to unbolt handlebars to get tank off. Just did not have the room. Well im thinking when doing that I unknowingly pull the cable in. So I will see. I need more than 1 inch with my fat fingers to get it connected.

Derick and Donna have upgraded boards which is a great option. I bought both right and left recently while I was doing some restoration

Are you able to tell me. How long the connector should be coming out of the handlebars.
