Over all huge improvement... more HP & Torque. It´s been widely discussed already and EVERYONE is very happy with it.

Sound also improves... more PO-TA-TO sound... I did NOT notice any more vibrations than stock.

As the S&S manual says the E carb provides better low end street performance while the G carb gives you more top end performance. I kept the E carb on my 05 cause of st is and gas mileage since I put a lot of miles on my bike. My new KMW bike does have the G carb and it reminds me of my 03 Mastiff

Peer pressure forced me to buy a S&S 585 cam which I received today; taking the bike to my local Chopper expert Chopper City in Orange Park FL; master tech Dave Welch for the install of Super G, 585 cam and pull the restrictor plates and rejet carb and fine tune hopefully unleashes the 117"
S&S recommends 31 intermediate and 76 main to start with the Super G

Just dropped my Super G & 585 cam to my local chopper mechanic and will replace the Super E, pull restrictor plates and add cam..........2005 Ridgeback is stock so my mechanic was curious if my push rods were adjustable and if he have to trim them down to fit the new cam?

Are the rods adjustable on stock 2005 117"........my new 585 cam should be plug and play?

Yes they're adjustable. I hope your mechanic knows how to check and see if your lifters might have limiters. How many miles are on the scoot? No trimming...

2005 Ridgeback
Rolling dirty with restrictor plates removed, Super G with 33/78 jets and 585 cam.

Runs strong pulls hard with plenty of Top End; might even bump my int to a 34.

Just ordered from Zippers..........34,35,36 INT jet as getting some sneezing at low RPM and I think the 34 INT will do the trick!

Received my new Super G from Big Dog Parts King along with intake, gaskets etc and Gateway Big Dog STL MO sent me the spacers once I remove the restrictors plates.

Replacing stock super E.........anything I need to know besides hopefully hold on after I install?

Hopefully unleashes the 117"
