04 mastiff EHC fried

So I installed the dyna ignition module and it started and ran good for a few blocks then died over and over, then it stopped running completely. I have no lights on the ech. Checked all connections twice. Ended up running a hot wire to a switch and then to coil. And installed slam button on starter. Now it running but have no lights or warning lights or speedometer or tach. How would I go about getting the lights and the warning lights functional at a low cost?

Mainly just need the low oil presure light

Curtis @ WSW can test ur ehc. Not sure the cost but way cheaper than a new one. If the Dyna was the last thing done, that's where I would start. JM

Not sure how you Hot Wired your bike but maybe you inadvertently disconnected the wires from the key switch. Also possible if previous owner had a fuse or circuit breaker installed to protect the EHC maybe it opened. My guess is the EHC is just not getting power or signal to operate. Double check your hot wire work or remove what you did to see if your symptom changes.
