I am in need of a pivot shaft for an '04 Daytec Chopper frame. If someone has their swing arm apart, a picture would be a big help to make one. Thanks:bang:

Dude! you just missed out. I just put mine back together a couple days ago.
Do you have the bearings that go in the swing arm?
I run down to the shop and take a pic of want I can see.

Ok, I couldn't find anything in the Manuel that shows the swing arm. So the first picture is the view from behind. note on the right that the shaft is bigger than the rest of it. It will fit into the swing arm and push up to the bearing. On the left the shaft is the same size all the way to the end, and pushes up to the bearing.

In this picture, between the chrome spacer and the swing arm, you can see the bearing. The chrome spacer is 5/8'' wide, plus I would say a .050 cone shape tit, that looks like the end of the bearing. And the side that touches the bearing, there is a cone shape inset, for the bearing to fit into.

In this picture, you can see the bearing between the swing arm and The frame.

In this picture, you can see how the shafts larger end fits into the swing arm.

You have my number, call me if you need to

Thanks Shannon! The pics are great now I can see what I need. Can you still measure the OD of the shaft? I know a machinest who could make this. No I don't have the bearings yet.

Sorry, I guess that would help.
The small part of the shaft is 1'' and the big part is 1.400''. The spacer is 1.750''
You will need to get the bearing to measure the length. Get with the Kaptin on them. If he doesn't have them, he can tell you where to go or what will fit.
