Well if you check the links the last one I added was for a set of CHEAP ASS saddlebags -- $25 -- would be good enough to get your clothes there. They aren't real pretty but they function. Of course the drop leg bag is always a good option and even with all the luggage I get onto my k-9 I still usually have the drop leg bag on myself.

I got a decent sized Saddleman bag that can prolly hold it all but sending a box may b easier?

Ride that thing, don't be a trailer queen!
It's appx 820 miles (2 days)

1st solution: So all you need on the bike is a 1 day change of clothes, Mail the rest to Knot's (ahead of time)
A change of clothes when packed right (albeit wearing same jeans and hell that's what they are meant for) will roll up and fit in a small zip lock bag that you can velcro to those ape hangers.

2nd solution: Get a hip bag. I have a couple that I use regularyl. https://www.amazon.com/biker-hip-bag/s?k=biker+hip+bag
can easily get overnight stuff in one of them. (Again, mail stuff to Knot's)

3rd solution: Call me ahead of time and I'm meet you guys up there and ride into Knot's with you -- I have extra bag you can use and leave on my chopper. This option helps with high mileage for me so I have nothing against this!

4th solution: Get a cheap set of throw over bags for a trip like this. https://www.amazon.com/Velaurs-Moun...=throw+over+saddlebags&qid=1674257895&sr=8-45

Solutions 1,2,and 4 also will integrate with solution 3, so if you ride let me know! Haven't had someone to ride with on these outings for quite some time.

Truth be told, I said most of this to Matt last night on the phone right after he posted but maybe some others will pipe in and help him decide to ride!

Hell add a day or two and we could do Tail of the Dragon/CheraHola Skyway, or a trip to Wheels thru Time!

Ima get the pitbull there one way or another. Got a little bit to figure it out, but I think I'm definitely gonna make it.

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
Okay fabers, Knothead , and all .

Temp sissy bar and or luggage mount .

This is the jist of it . Lots of variations could be adopted to it . Including adjustability...

What year is your chopper? I have one made up for my 03, that I had. It can probably be modified to accept section cups. The o3 had a bolt through the top of the fender that held the seat on. And that's what I had it mounted to. If I make it down to the shop today I'll take a picture of it.

Ok, I have a question, for the first time ever my schedule actually would allow me to come to a Big Dog gathering. So, Knothead if me and the old lady can come (got to see if she can take the time off work) is there hotels near by? Pretty sure we would trailer 1 or both bikes up, but my enclosed trailer is just that a trailer and not a camper or toy hauler so we would need a place to stay.

There are several hotels in the area, many of us stay in Holladay Tn at the Days Inn -- its about 16miles
There;s a best western and another hotel in Camdem as well. These are less 5miles from Knotheads.

Yeah the there is motels 5 miles from the house, which most that have come the last couple of years says it is high there....most stay at the interstate which is 20 mins away at the 126 exit on interstate 40....goggle map Camden, Tn and you see those im talking about...

Another thing is if you do trailer your bikes you can leave your trailer here at the farm there is plenty of room and the shop is big enough to keep your bikes in.

We sure hope you and yours can come.

Ok, I'll look into them tonight and see who has rooms available. And yes we are hoping we can too. I've been wanting to meet up with everyone for a while now, just working 3rd and my schedule here has never allowed me the same weekends off as the gatherings. And btw thank you for letting us keep the trailer and bikes on your property.
