Hola fellow BD owners. So I got my K9 one year ago in September. The bike had about 3200 miles on it when I bought it and was well kept from the previous owner. Now the bike has about 3500 miles on it. About a week ago the bike appears to have broken a clutch cable. The cable is still attached to the hand control. So, I'm thinking the cable broke at the clutch housing itself. Here are a couple of questions I am hoping someone out there might have some experience with, WTF a clutch cable breaks with 3500 miles on it? Could there be something unique to these bikes that might cause something like a clutch cable to go out this prematurely? Like I said, the bike was not abused and was kept in a climate-controlled garage. Hardly ever ridden obviously so this being a problem right now is very weird to me. Second question - if its not the cable itself - what could it be? Thanks all for any help!
