Anyone got an idea of what this is?

Working through a rebuild on my chopper and today I removed the rear fender. Found the source of my turn signal issue. See pics. Also found what looks like a sensor or connector stuck under the fender from the ehc that looks like it's been rubbing the wheel. Anyone know what this is or used to be? It's the only wire coming from the ehc see pics (i.e. not off a connector)

I'm not sure but it may be a connection for reading/flashing the ehc.

For air shocks maybe? Is it one wire or multiconductor really -- can we get a better look at the piece that was underneath fender? multiple angles.

It was a link for hooking up to a computer. Wrap some tape around it and tuck it in somewhere

Thanks, that makes sense. The EHC is going away anyway. Ordered an m.unit a while back still waiting on it (supply chain bs)

It's a multiconductor. Don't have air shocks but I'm pretty sure Mr Wright called it. Thanks for the input
