Welcome! I have a 2000 Vintage Sport Chopper. Love my old Dog!Bear with me......new guy here.
I know on the old site, there was a section for "OLDER DOGS"....something like pre-2001.....
is there a section here for us who have some oldies but goodies?
I've got a 2000 Bulldog that gives me occasional fits but I love it to death.
I'm compiling a list of things that have gone wrong and have-been/need-to-be fixed.
Would like to see other's experiences and New Tricks with the Ol' Dogs.

Hey bro. Can you please tell me all the particulars on my 99 pro sport? It's crazy hard to find out anything about this bike. I would appreciate it greatly. (I live in Wichita and can't find out anything)

Post a picture of it when you can. Can tell you alot more about it if we can see it. Just going to take a shot at the basics though. Has a TP 107 engine. Most likely a Andrews 5 Speed transmission. Thunderheart EHC. Lmk if I was close!

I will, getting ready to go out and work on it. Having starter problems. Pinion gear engauges ring gear and spins making this racket that I've never heard. I've replaced sprag, but still does it.

Nice!! Wow S&S engine. Cool deal. My 2000 has a TP 107. How about the transmission? Andrews or Baker? Mine has a Baker 6 speed. Sorry to hear your having issues with your starter. I have a new starter sitting on the shelf in my garage waiting for the day mine gives out. Hope you got the answer your needing to get your bike up & running again!

I'm pretty sure Baker. Atleast that's what I ordered the new shift pawl I put in it. I've never owned an evo. This is my first and learned allot, but still a long ways to go.

My 1999 Prosport shakes a fair amount even with the rubber mounts!! Improved with a new urethane front mount. Haven’t tried the new Kinetic Structures “ compressed stainless steel wool “ front mount yet, supposed to be the best yet, but $150 …I’ve got a big Suzuki and Ducati, but the Big Dog is my favorite ride.
