Remember back in December when I got chased by the dog and my feet got caught up in the damn internet cable that Comcast had not buried. (It’s been 11 months and it’s still not buried) when I went flying into the gate my right heal flew into a concrete swan Colleen has by the gate. The MRI shows the bone spur went into my Achilles’ tendon and broke off in the tendon sheeth and has almost destroyed the tendon. That’s why I’ve been in so much pain. They have to go in and detach the tendon, wrap it and repair it. Reattach it, fix the tendon sheeth, and remove the bone spur. All because of a damn cable company that’s too damn lazy to bury their damn underground internet line!! Since August of 2019 since the damn cable lies across the driveway and we run over it every day. Comcast has had to come out 4 times and repair it due to it breaks. And yet they still have not buried it. I’ve called the public service commission every month raising hell! Oh yeah, I sliced my hand open on the damn 100 yr old gate in the fall!7F034991-B326-407E-83EC-A5045EFDE286.jpeg677A5D5A-B8BB-473E-8752-C14B8F9FF63F.jpegEFD5CF15-957F-4223-BFF1-E9C6633EC738.jpegC828CF26-DCCB-4240-8E04-9768D2699465.jpeg6D36F26C-1DD3-443E-9A55-F00EBAA115E2.jpegCDCA9062-F398-4029-98C7-B9662C8EB9FF.jpeg8C14C231-6238-4853-ADD5-5E14888ED1BE.jpegF6798FFF-A00B-4C20-9EBD-05887B12EAB5.jpeg0E17AABF-AE38-4B5C-9D96-62760979B2B8.jpeg

Step it up a notch -- find a local news station that has a consumer reporter and get them on the NEWS and get the Public Service Commision on the news for not doing their job -- they hate that and usually want bad press to go away ASAP.
Does that cable feed you?
Do you have an alternative supplier?
Did you grant them right of way (ie does the line across driveway feed anyone else?)
I remember years ago, cable company came out and just started marking yards for where they were going to run the lines -- Dad looked at them and went NO. The never even asked to use our yard as a right of way for their service.
If they are using it as a delivery to others make them pay or discount your service for the privilege.

It’s the cable feed to my garage apartment my stepson lives in. They ran it and never came back to trench it in the ground. Just left it laying across my 5 acre front yard. That’s direct burial cable. I’m not calling the news. I’m beyond bat shit screaming mad. I went and got the biggest baddest motherfucking lawyer I could find. This fucker lives in a multi million dollar mansion. I pointed at Comcast. Showed him what I’ve gone through and what I’m about to go through plus all the shit Comcast has given me. He looked like a Rottweiler that had not eaten in a week and eyeballing a thanksgiving turkey sitting on the table with all the trimmings!!! Doctors I haven’t been able to get appointments with we’re calling me. He set me up with a MRI over night. And he keeps 30%!

Glad to hear, you are getting something done about it. They contract that work out, so the lawyer is going to love getting them both for the problem.

Nope, it was a Comcast employee, with a Comcast van , wearing a Comcast shirt. who layed the cable out. I even have his supervisors card still! He came out with him to do training. I was told another crew would bury it.6A3F52CF-960F-4BF7-99BA-188665246FC5.png

Jonathan, it seems you are having so much trouble with Comcast and getting hurt as well. You better think about retiring and not doing anything anymore, what every you do you are either tripping or getting cut on something. Man a lot going on here. Take care.

It’s gonna be close. I’m in my 2nd hard cast. The Dr called today. He saw something in the MRI so I now have to go back Monday for another mri and a 3rd cast. It will be on till August 19, then in a walking boot for 4-5 weeks. Oh and 11 months 3 weeks and 4 days. Comcast showed up and buried the damn cable. Guess it helped that my lawyer sent them a demand letter of their insurance liability coverage!!F7706094-6D91-4A1F-BAC6-330BE97DD965.jpeg

They were suppose to bury the line. They put in a underground internet line. The problem was they never came back and buried it. They Made and left a hazardous condition with no warning tape or barriers. Same thing if your city digs a hole in the street and does not put up proper barriers and warning precautions and someone drives buy and falls in. You can not create a hazardous situation and leave it. And all 4 times the cable was run over so much that it had to be replaced means it wasn’t just a 1 time event Comcast didn’t report to bury it. From the original installation until the last week when it was finally buried Comcast put down 5 new cables in the same place and created 5 hazardous situations.

Made our reservations yesterday. Susan and I are staying Fri & Sat night at the Residence Inn. It appears to be one of the closest hotels to the farm.

We're staying in Texarkana again on the way up and back. See you there Alan........but we HAVE to figure out a better way north out of Texarkana. 71 was the worst leg of the whole trip by a wide margin.....even without the rain. :)
Unless something changes, or I decide to meet Eric in KS, why not get a later start and stay in DFW, then we can ride up. Take the ride through 259/59. Its a nice ride.
