Awesome thanks! Do you think everything is the same for the 2011?
You actually have a K-9 250, I have not seen one in person but I know the speedo is the Medallion one, you also have the HD style rocker switches on the handle bars. I am not sure what controller they put in that bike. Have you tried sending an email to the guys at bigdogisback to see if they know anything about it? Take a few pics of the electronics and the ignition module you have . Does your setup look like this:

Yes mine has the HD controls. Bigdog got back with me today and said it’s either the handle bar switch or the ehc. I haven’t had time to look at it again

For my interest, take a pic of the ehc on that bike. Are there LEDs? You can take the hand controls apart and use your multimeter to test voltage at the switch before and after. Check both sides of the switch. Since its a rocker its easy to test. You said there is no voltage at the coil either?

Where you able to find out anything? I emailed Donna and 2009 was the last service manual BDM actually made. Your EHC is different than all the ones I have seen. Where you able to test the switch?

That one pic you posted, looks like black sticky tape over a label. Maybe you can work that tape off and see what's on the label. Might be a part number or something.

Switch is good. I did talk to Bigdog yesterday. They don’t have a ehc. I have a Thunder Heart ignition on order. I hate to start cutting wires but I don’t have a choice

That pic looks like a Wires Plus mess with the Deutsche Connectors but that black box must be a different custom unit and why since you have Harley switches just gotta stick with custom style units. Thunderheart ASM unit you can put in is the same the older dogs use just wired slightly differently, it's a good unit.

Maybe Axel has an Idea what Option u Have.
U can send pics and part number to him.
He is a member here and build his own good working ehc.
Take a look to the Run/off switch. This stops only ignition too.
