I am having problems with my 2006 pitbul it won't start from the switch on the handle bars . I put a starter button on the starter for now . any help out there ?

Circuit board in the handle bar controls is bad, or might just need cleaning. Pull it apart, you might just find that it came unplugged.

Im cleaning and inspecting inside the starter button housing (not making good contact when I press the on or starter button don't know which one) any way I see one small Phillips head that holds the green circuit board in and 3 other round ?s do these screw in or pull out? Somethings not makin...

Control board repair.
Was working on Shain's bike today. The previous owner had a start button mounted to the top of the valve cover, so I took the control board out to see if it needed cleaning. Upon inspection, I found none of the buttons worked. I peeled the plastic off and checked under them and they were clean...

On my starter button it clicks when I push it . do you think I should still in there and look ?

went in cleaned the white plug looked clean . looked around . put it back together and it still clicks .
the clicking sound come from under the gas tank . is there a relay under there ?

That would be your compression releases clicking. Pull the green wire off your solenoid,and check the voltage both before and as you push the start button. Make sure you pust the run botton before the start button.

That is what I thought might be clicking . I put a new starter in. my battery holds a good charge . This has been going on for about year . it might be my computer . I ride the bike . tied of pusing the starter button on starter . I am waiting for Danna to get back to me . might have to go after market wiring kit . What ever is wrong with it, I'm sure it's a simple fix. Just need to find it. Broke wire at a plug, or a bad connection somewhere. Rewiring isn't alway the best way to go. Lot more headaches in the long run. Still thinking it's the circuit board. Whats the voltage on the green wire at the solenoid?

there is no green wire or solenoid on big dog starter just the black wire battery wire and grout wire. everything else on this bike work ?? .( Thank you so much brother for your help) . I would love to get this working right

you are right thanks it is a green wire with a black cover over it .my reading off is 5.75 bouncing to 6.07 the same when on . ?

Sorry when I push the stater button to start my reading is 9.20

Disconnect the battery, then unplug your EHC and clean the plugs. Then put some fresh dielectric grease on them.

Thanks . I will try that . I put a jump wire to the battery the to the green wire male end on starter and the starter motor works .I put a new end on the green wire same thing clicks . could it be the ECU computer brain ? you are the Man thanks

ok I unplugged Both plugs and cleaned then and blowed off with air put them back on same click . there is a ECU computer on Ebay for $150 should I buy it . its for my bike to see if that work or should I send it to Winchester black to have him check it out ?
