Mr. Wright
Knows some things
We don't like it, but rain happens. One thing I don't much care for is wearing rain gear. It's hot and won't protect you if you go down. So I decided to do something different this year, I ran across an age old recipe for water proofing.
I've used it on my boots and it work great. I made me up a can of it a couple months ago.
Took a sponge and rubbed it on, like you were polishing your boots.
Took my heat gun, a hair dryer will work too, and melted it into the leather.
Then I took a cloth, and wiped the excess off as I was heating.
It comes out looking nice, and you really can't feel the wax on it.
Poured some water on it.
And it runs right off.
