Which one did you buy?Took vr off cleaned it re-installed . Still max volts are 13.8, also grounded directly to the vr with probe 13.85 max. So might as well order new one.
Did you check the meter? Test your car charging with it before throwing more money around...I barely read 13.5-13.9 while riding, right at 12 even when idling. From what I'm understanding from some is that of u have a weak battery it'll have a hard time keeping up. I'm looking into a new battery now myself. It hasn't left me high n dry but it does concern me a bit.. but it's been like this for almost 2 years now.. lol
Yeah I checked my gauge with my meter and it's the same. I use my meter almost every day chasing electrical issues on manlift. I just had to use the hell out of my meter at the house after it got hit by lightning and I got the same readings the electricians did.. so my fluke is good, my Dakota is good.. battery just isn't all that great..Did you check the meter? YakakakakakEdited my post...
stater shows about 22 volts AC at idle and then went to 50 volts when I revved it upSounds like your stater is getting weak if your battery isn't going bad. Check your ac voltage at the stater plug!
That's good enoughstater shows about 22 volts AC at idle and then went to 50 volts when I revved it up
Needing to find stator for my 99 Pro Sport. Got any idea where and how many amps. Having trouble finding one. Have nothing at plug AC or DC. And 10.5 on regulator side. Guess it's stator?? Can you help? That's good enough

That's all you need... You have a 12v battery./....so I installed the new Voltage regulator from cycle Electric, and all reading are still the same 13.5 volts to 13.8 volts max
WTF
Have you asked Curtis?Needing to find stator for my 99 Pro Sport. Got any idea where and how many amps. Having trouble finding one. Have nothing at plug AC or DC. And 10.5 on regulator side. Guess it's stator?? Can you help?

Absolutely nothing? Should be AC put the meter leads on both holes. Give it some gas too.Needing to find stator for my 99 Pro Sport. Got any idea where and how many amps. Having trouble finding one. Have nothing at plug AC or DC. And 10.5 on regulator side. Guess it's stator?? Can you help?

Ya was running. Tried both holes and grounded on each and together. Still nothing. That's why I figured stator. Voltage drops small amount at bat with full charge on it. When only had 12 at bat would drop to 7.4 when running. Or if pull pos side while running will die, even if motor reved up. Am I correct before I tear apart?Absolutely nothing? The bike was on right? Your numbers almost sound like it wasn't. Hah
Any softail EVO 32 AMP stator will fit

Yea sounds like it. The 2 holes on the stator one is positive other is ground so just need to put them together with the meter set to AC.Ya was running.
