How's the paint job coming along

Slow, I got side tracked with fab'n up new struts, then I started looking at the chrome...decided I'm gonna do black chrome, so I had to test it out on some areas...I have a real problem with staying focused on the task at hand. It will be done over the holidays, got a couple weeks off...

Ummm.. sorry guys .. but road crown on the right side of the bike? You are located in the states correct so you do travel on the right side of the road cause road crown wear to be on the left.. just stating the obvious.. anyway, I have the wear more on my right as well.. come to find out the Metzeler is actually close to 315 then 300 and if you align it perfectly it will rub the belt. So my next set will be factory avon's that are actually about 304mm.. n e ways.. good luck.. take ur axle covers off the rear and measure the distance from front to back on each side..

Its much better than jacking the axle and riding down the road true doggy styleOr changing the Avon tire again cause it split in half, been there done that with 1500 miles on the Avon, wouldn't want that happening to your baby now would ya, I'm glad the Spyder don't take Avons

Lmao... true.. never had avon's.. figured it was time to try em.. everyone I talk to swears by em.. I personally swear by Metzeler until this..

I couldn't say.. I have never had an avon.. everyone I talk to says they are a smoother softer ride.. longevity not so much.. I have about 8k on my Metzeler that's doin it doggy style baby!!

Maybe that's what wore out the foot pegs? Pushing to hard with your feet trying to steer it straight

See.. some like avon and some like metzeler.. all I know is consistency on what I hear is avon is a softer tire for a softer ride but lasts half as long.. I'm gunna give em a shot and see what happens.. I personally can't see one tire that is a good brand tire lasting half as long as another good brand tire

Nope it's called putting 11k on ur bike in a year and only 1800 on my truck.. use her almost every day.. tell me how that floor board of that spyder looks in a few months!!!

It don't have floor boards, Can Am does the pegs the right way
