Changing brakes need to remove the rear wheel.need belt tension when I reinstall the wheel..
Is that with the wheel off the ground? And that is just in one direction correct? So total would be 1/2" to 5/8" up and down? And why for every 10 lbs? I don't understand how that makes any difference at all, kinda strange.I think the manual I have says 1/4 - 5/16 per 10 lbs

Yes, that makes sense, thanks Paul for the explanation, 10 lbs of force I understand, I though he was saying for every 10 lbs of weight on the bike, I do run mine a bit looser than the 1/4 to 5/16 measurement, I am right around 3/8"There's a gauge used to set the tension .at 10 pounds of force, one way, you should reach the 1/4" mark . some run theirs a little less tight for bearing wear. does this make sense.

Are you saying you have to pull the rear wheel off to change the break pads?Yes that's why I need the belt tension needs brakes have to pull the back wheel on the wolf
