SCREW IN OIL TANK

battery screw fell down the oil filler tube into the oil tank. what's the consensus.....hell with, it won't cause an issue or pull the tank and to get it out?

Go buy you a lottery ticket, because that was a million in one shot. Why were you removing the battery cables with the cap off in the first place?
Beings none of your oil line are on the bottom of the tank, and the bolt is bigger than the oil line, it's not going anywhere, I don't think it will hurt anything.

Unless he gets to ride alot and it rubs a hole in the tank from vibration. Have seen it on Marine equipment where a weld gets broken and vibration takes over

It can't go anywhere cause the feed line to the motor is very small. But as said I would try to fish it out with a magnet cause it could cause feed flow issues. I can't tell from my phone what model bike you have, could be a pain. But I would drain the tank with it on the side stand and they to get it

if you can't get it with the magnet easily, go outside (with a friend to make it easier) and lay the bike down gently on the grassand the bolt should drop to that side then grab it with magnet or small grabber.

If you have REALLY BIG friends, turn it upside down!
