battery screw fell down the oil filler tube into the oil tank. what's the consensus.....hell with, it won't cause an issue or pull the tank and to get it out?
1+++ That will get it.Try fishing around with flexible magnet
Unless he gets to ride alot and it rubs a hole in the tank from vibration. Have seen it on Marine equipment where a weld gets broken and vibration takes overGo buy you a lottery ticket, because that was a million in one shot. Why were you removing the battery cables with the cap off in the first place?
Beings none of your oil line are on the bottom of the tank, and the bolt is bigger than the oil line, it's not going anywhere, I don't think it will hurt anything.
And shake the hell outta itif you can't get it with the magnet easily, go outside (with a friend to make it easier) and lay the bike down gently on the grassand the bolt should drop to that side then grab it with magnet or small grabber.
If you have REALLY BIG friends, turn it upside down!
Correctly. Flipped lift and shake. Nuts will leave. And shake the hell outta it![]()

While you have it upside down, you might as well clean the bottom of the bike goodAnd shake the hell outta it![]()
