Both the S&S and TP rockers are noisy, the TP seem to rattle a little more in opinion. Just because your running the TP's doesn't mean you have a problem. I'll see if I can find the thread where it talks about them. It depends on how it's wearing on the end of the valve stem. As long as your valves are adjusted correctly, a rattle in the top end is normal.

Check for exhaust leaks, check engine mount bolts up by coil and underneath.

does it do it on a cold start at idle? Or only when it warms up? Louder with higher RPM's?

Noise is coming from front cylinder only, it always had a tap but much loader now. Tap increase in speed with throttle but the loadness stays the same.

Check engine motor mount bolts first, THEN EXHAUST.....and then also test and make sure Intake gaskets (Y-pipe) is not leaking (spray test)....then adjust pushrods.....

I am going to have the pushrods changed to S&S quick pushrods. I already had them adjusted but maybe one is bent. I will keep you posted

You had TP boxes right?
Do a search, there is a shitload of talk about those and replacing them with S&S, it may well be a bit more than just throwing S&S pushrods in...

Ok holiday Monday can't get much done but did notice yesterday while riding in 85 degree weather as the ride went on and oil thinned tapping got loader. I just changed oil about 200 miles ago with Mobil 20-50. I did however notice today on startup while oil still think if I held brakes and started to let clutch out while still holding brakes and loaded up the tapping went away. But under normal riding it still tapped. So not thinking pushrods anymore.
