Dang Fitzy!Hello all
is anyone running a kickstand switch i noticed on my wiring diagram there are wires for one but it says not installed i need one to pass inspection any ideas ?
Cheers
special turn signal flashers, kick stand switches,
is it legal to use your speedometer to indicate your wheels are rotating?
You might try to find a small normally closed, momentary pushbutton switch, or a small microswitch that you could hide under the frame. The switch would be open when the stand is up, and closed when the stand is down. Shouldn't take too heavy of a switch! Stay Safe down there!
Hell, some of the funniest times were when a newbie tried to start the bike with it in gear....I know i Know dont worry i have told them nothing its getting beyond a joke apparently the bike is not allowed to start in gear, the way they get around this is put a switch on the kick stand im trying to do the wright thing but fuck it ill just keep on ridin wish i could get a job in the USA you guys have all the cool shit anybody need a helicopter pilot over there

You might try PHI inc. Based out of Lafayette La ( P.O. box 90808 Lafayette La. 70509). They fly for offshore wells, mining and air medical. I've met several of their pilots through working with their medics and nurses, and they all seem to like the business.
Just a thought if you're serious,
Hope he turned his head in the right direction, so he could make a clean turn! One of my buddies rode off with his neck locked....funny but not. Right in fort of the bar too, with a big crowd around..lol

This reminds me of one time when I might have not been in such a great state of mind and forgot to remove the front wheel lock before taking off with the wifey on the back!Hell, some of the funniest times were when a newbie tried to start the bike with it in gear....
OMG!
It was like hitting a wall! She slammed forward into me and knocked me into the tank so I could not hold up the bike with both of us on it and down we went on the exhaust side of the bike! Her leg was under the bike so I thought she might be burned by the exhaust or hurt and I just grabbed the bike and jerked it up and "Pop" I tore the muscle in my right bicep!
Not fun at all,
so these days I don't use wheel locks anymore, if someone wants to steel the sucker, let em have it, it's insured!

Yep, on the dog! That was on the dog?
That's why I run the disc lock with an alarm you can't forget it's there.

It was a miricle that nothing got broken or dented,
I think the passenger peg and my grip held it up just enough to save it from getting all screwed up, just a few scratches on the peg and grip!
As far as the one's with the alarm on them I never thought about that Eric, I didn't know the alarm went off on those by just movement of the bike, I thought you had to roll the bike to set those off! So looks like that would be a good option then.
