I agree with Marky, It's in the sump. When the check valve in the oil pump is weak, and not sealing good, the oil will drain down into the engine. Mine does the same thing. I f you have oil pressure when you start it, take it for a ride, then recheck it.

You say you lost 2 quarts of oil...how do you know that? 2005 Ridgebacks do NOT have an oil dipstick, nor is the oil tank see through? Are you using your finger, a screwdriver, the temp gauge cap??????
All of those methods of checking your oil will NOT/NEVER tell you you are 2 quarts off...where did you come up with this amount?

I'm going to be a dick here and also recap this thread:

1. No oil on garage floor
2. no oil in Primary (you replaced seal)
3. There is NO DIPSTICK

THE OIL IS STILL IN YOUR ENGINE THEN

GO FOR A LONG RIDE AND WARM IT UP TO TEMPERATURE! AT LEAST 20-35 MILES!!! THEN check your oil.

As most have stated...your OIL is still in your engine (PROBABLY THE SUMP)....it doesn't evaporate.....and an air cooled engine DOES use more oil than a liquid cooled one, but not 2 QUARTS.

I am sorry not to 2 quarts. 0.2 quart (200 ml). I myself have made the oil dipstick. Drill tube, made thread in the hole and screw to a metal rod. On the rod did mark max and min level. And also I check the oil level on the lower edge of the filler neck. The amount of oil I determined by quantity of filled in to the level.

big dogs have a DRY sump pump system.....Sometimes just running them at idle will make the situation worse as the pump won't pump back fast enough or keep the crankcase oiled properly. When the engine is off oil is not suppose to migrate into the crankcase/Sump, but many do, so you are going to over service your system if you don't make sure all the oil has been scavenged back to the tank.

So you count 4 days into 6oz, divide by how many months come winter, subtracted by I'll get around to it tomorrow, multiplied by the yeah, that will happen soon enough to never. And that should equal zero on the homemade dipstick.
