I like the Plug and Play and if I do pull the trigger, that is what I will go with. I have some mechanical experience but that was more geared to hi-performance boating and that taught me a valuable lesson, only fix what needs to be fixed or it may cost more than you bargained for. I believe we have bikes that are worth the extra effort to keep them running, just take it for a ride and you remember why you bought it. Thanks for all the replies, this site is always helpful.
The Bike only has 2400 miles on it and appears to be original so I would not expect any chafing. Good comment so I will have the shop run the wiring to be sure. SoupyAs long as your harness is good and no chaffing..Axels unit from Curtis should be about as easy as you can get. Good luck.
Signal module went out in my WP after over 11,000 miles & 6 years. (Don't know if that's to be expected or not) but it was over $200 & I might consider going with something else if it happens again or before.Yes he has a module out for the 04
What shop you using in Dallas? The Bike only has 2400 miles on it and appears to be original so I would not expect any chafing. Good comment so I will have the shop run the wiring to be sure. Soupy
