Just about anything that will fit an FXR will fit an Aero Sport. Engine components were based on the 1992 model year HD engine (oil pump bolt patterns and such). Matter of fact, If your bike has Edlebrock heads, the Flywheels are stock HD. The primary and internals are all HD with the exception of the Rivera clutch (at least I seem to remember the 98 models having a Rivera clutch. I believe BDM stopped using the stock HD clutch after the 97 model year. Wire color codes are the same as HD.I have a 98 aero sport and nobody can tell me what fits it not even big dog talked to them 3 times and still know nothing
1963 Husky here!!!:2thumbs:2000 Husky here![]()
I would like to see some pic's of dat dog!!!!I have a 98 aero sport and nobody can tell me what fits it not even big dog talked to them 3 times and still know nothing
If it's got the full TP engine, It'll run great (I've always thought the TP 107 was a stronger engine than the S&S 107). Problems with the TP were cylinder liner detachment and head gaskets blowing. If it is a TP bottom end with an S&S top end it's definitely a keeper. Keep an eye on the rear rubber mounts at the swing arm. they blow out from time to time.:2thumbs:I have had many bikes but the wife and I stopped at a local HD shop and saw this "Old Dog" that someone traded in so I had to rescue it from the pound! Let me hear your thought on this model, I have only go to ride it about 5 miles so far. Raining everyday here in Ohio!![]()
Get them from Harley. I haven't seen anythin aftermarket that is really worth the money.:2thumbs:DogVet, I think your right about the swing arm mounts, I feel some looseness, Do you know where I can get some new rubber for this, Does HD interchange, If so what model? Thanks in advance for the advise!![]()
