I have a 04 Big Dog 107 cubic motor I replaced the battery and the starter was rebuilt she ran great 1 day then went back to click click I was told to check the starter relay...well we're is that and what else do I check
Hi - may want to do an intro and stick around for the long term. I would recommend rechecking all connections first.
Like these guys said either you are draining your battery from a loose connection or a wire short.Sounds like a loose connection like dingo stated.
O.k. I'll check all connections and get back thanks guysHi - may want to do an intro and stick around for the long term. I would recommend rechecking all connections first.
It's 5PM in Spain....he's probably drunk by now....Wait till Franco wakes up!!!

You are getting input with the limited information you provided....It's a brand new battery !! It's not bought from Walmart either! I'm posting for my husband it's his Dog!! So he knows his shit!!! Just looking for some input!
Thankyou! To check your starter solenoid without a multimeter, read this thread:

NOW DO AN INTRODUCTION @Heather O'day!!!!!
I detect slyness, is Mrs O'day trying to get info so she can go ask Mr O'day," why don't you check the connections on the battery, the connections on the starter. Make sure their tight test for a possible ground to see if it's grounding the wiring harness under the gas tank which some models were prone to and look at getting a RIP EHC honey!"It's a brand new battery !! I should've put Walmart in quotes...I meant if ANY battery sits on a shelf too long it can go bad. If he has the original EHC (brain), they suck a lot of voltage...battery won't fully recharge if not driven at least 20+ miles.....as @liferider said, it's probably a loose connection/short, only thing that should make it go clickety click click is not enough power....check voltage on battery when running-should be 14+ volts, if not running, battery should read at least 12 volts....It's a brand new battery !! No slyness! Honestly just looking for advice as to what else it may be!I detect slyness, is Mrs O'day trying to get info so she can go ask Mr O'day," why don't you check the connections on the battery, the connections on the starter.
