OK need help with something, I am about to send my wheels to be chromed but I'm not sure if my front wheel is a one piece or if it has front hubs. Need to know this so I know how to tell the chrome company to bill me. I have an 06 mastiff with the Jester Wheels.

The wheels have 2 hubs each that unbolt and the bearings should be removed and be careful not to build up too much plating in the bores, you will have to install new bearings with a press fit if your having the hubs plated also.

2 rear wheel hubs Plus Bolts

Rear wheel pulley Plus bolts

Front Caliper

Rear Caliper

Front forward controls (foot) Plus Bolts

Front forward control levers (foot) Plus hardware

Shifter linkage

Handbar control housings

Hand levers

Rear passenger peg extenders and offset

Cam nose cone plus bolts

Rear Brake Caliper axle Mount

Unless you know a cheaper way of having everything chromed out. As of now without labor from the shop that I'll take it to for disassemble I'm looking at 2500.00 plus shipping

That's a great price for all of that. I went with doing it myself, used Mothers Billet Polish, a lot of elbow grease and my aluminum came out like chrome. i'll post pics when I get home from work. you can't even tell they were aluminum. JMO

I've done that myself but its just to time consuming, I even went and bought a lift just to be able to clean my wheels without having to lay down on the ground.

I have used Space Coast Plating, beautiful work and reasonable. I am going to send them a bunch of stuff next winter.
I've contacted them, the only thing I'm not sure about is the pricing, they want pictures and of every part before they will give you and estimate, and you won't know total cost till they are done with the job. I don't want them coming back saying its 500 extra because of whatever. I'd like to know before I send my stuff to someone how much it will be.

If you can ask around locally if any decent platers with that many parts you are gonna get slammed on shipping even if you can find a shop within 100 miles you'll come out on the winning end

Yeah I know, I budgeted 2500 total, but if shipping will be that much I'll end up doing half now then half next year maybe. I know I want the wheels and rotors (polished) and pulley done for sure. then maybe the foot control mounts and levers, my pegs already are.

Alex does all my chroming. He never goes over his quote, AND he is actually really reasonable and will give bulk pricing if you send him a bunch of stuff. Love his work.....if you call or email him, tell him Marky-Marc sent you...

I just had two front forks complete re-chromed, 2 triple trees, all my front fender mounts (2 sets), brake mounts(two sets), 2 lowers and brake caliper and cam cover and he charged me @1500 for ALL with shipping AND insurance...

He has some prices on his website.....

http://www.atlaschrome.com

BTW, he chromes EVERYTHING, including GUNS.....
