I agree. I would have called the cops already, posted that I did, and what they said by now. Seems fishy to me regardless of the language barrier. Who knows, maybe we are the ones getting scammed.

Let me see... A good friend rips me off for several thousands of dollars; I ask people for help; several people take time out of their day to help me; instead of jumping on this opportunity I avoid doing what should be done. Not passing judgment but it does seem a little funny from where I sit. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how quickly some of you jumped in to help

:agree: Hope he comes back saying something is in motion and he spoke to the authorities on this matter. You get no where standing still, with a situation like this, every second counts, and so far he doesn't seem like there's any rush!!! Hope he proves us wrong and gets his money or his bike.
And I completely agree, what a bunch of great guys on this forum for looking out and helping a brother out!

I can't see it from here at the computer, and the garage door is closed ! :skep: I don't know if I reported it or not, but I probably didn't call my insurance company either:disappointed:. WOW, unbelievable $1500, maybe that was done to keep the export tax lower, in any case its suprising he hasn't responded lately. Unless he's on a plane coming over:oldconfused:
