Awl man, what a pic - Scott & I went to school together(1-12 & college), Gary is a family friend & same age as brother, and yes I do recognize Mark - just couldn't place the name - I have a problem remembering my own name half the time.

My Ridgeback has the 330 tire. I love it! Looks tough and it handles just as nice as my 250'Chopper. But that's just my opinion.

If you want the 300 you will get used to it. In my opinion the 250 is a little more able to be "zippy" I don't know how else to describe it. Easier to cut corners like 90 degree corners and thats being picky! Otherwise its the same and fatter is cooler!

I'll take that 300 any and every day.

It's saved my life while on the bike more than once.

Once when I got rear ended and the bitch parked on the back of the bike, the other time while rolling down 17 headed to MB. Had been raining all day. Up and down the little rolling hils we go. Suddenly, one is not like the others, 2ft deep and 3ft across of water (at least). Plowed in at 50, I swear that extra contact patch helped me keep it upright.

Cornering -- done the tail of the dragon twice, including full luggage and passenger -- only issue is how LOW the bike is before it scrapes not the tire size.

Makes me feel better knowing the hydro-planing issue and that you can run curves - great example the tail of the dragon loaded w/passenger!

Back to the tire question, I have both and really don't notice any difference between the 250 an 300. Maybe it just something you get use to but never had any issues with either with the exception that they are both a bitch to buy and change

The K9 with that beautiful 300 rear does prefer straight aways. Like anything else, once you get use to it, it handles great even on turns
