From their web site:
"Introducing the GEN2 "EHC R.I.P" kit from BIG DOG MOTORCYCLES. This kit replaces the faulty Electronic Harness Controllers (EHCs) that are prone to failure in 2005-2009 Big Dog Motorcycles, will also work in 2010s with a small retrofit kit. Fits all models 2005-2009. Unlike other aftermarket replacement kits, this kit is the only true "PLUG AND PLAY" system requiring no splicing, soldering, custom bracketry or new harnesses. Simply remove the stock EHC and the rear harness, mount the new module where the old EHC was mounted, connect the D-sub connector to your exisitng backbone connector, route the new rear harness and make connections and RIDE.
The plug-and-play design significantly reduces install time and the risk of installation error. This kit will maintain the functionality of the stock EHC, excluding the integrated air ride, but is much more robust. Built with an all-aluminum housing and water-resistant connections, the GEN 2 EHC R.I.P. kit will leave your EHC worries Resting In Peace."
So I would have to say yes it maintains all the original EHC functions excluding the air ride system.
