No power to anything ...

Energy One

Sounds like a short to the solenoid or it's bad. Chasing wires is never fun, wish I could help John, but your a couple thousand miles awayi think. I ride a rigid and the air ride system is foreign to me, someone may chime in soon.
Hey Thanks, I'll find it ... given time. Power wire to the air ride solenoid shouldn't have power on it unless the run/Lo buttons are pressed on DOC's system.

Well, I got DOC's EHC wired in the bike and it looks like thats all I lost. I haven't fired it up yet but everything lights up and responds like it should. I need to put the tank back on when I get a little energy then start it and check the VR. The DOC's kit is one that would be hard to screw up on installing. Each wire set is lettered with a corresponding wire diagram that shows what that jst controls and even the color & number of wires coming out of the jst connector it hooks to. The wires are protected well. If you're worried you can't wire this "don't worry " follow the simple step by step instructions and you won't have any problem. It even comes with a separate set of instructions with tips for protecting each switch, light and connector on the bike. They returned or answered every call or email I sent, the same day I emailed or called. Hope this review helps some of you.
Did you give DOCS a call and explain your air ride issue? Maybe they've come across this before and have a suggestion or two. It can't hurt.

Yes, talked to Him a couple times. He is a big help. He thinks it's connected to the pcb's or connecting harness ... he is most likely right. I will pull the tank again and check the connectors if I dont see anything under the battery covers or RH pcb. I just run out of energy to quick and what should take hours ... takes days.

I hear you John, sounds frustrating but keep at it. Once you figure it out that warm and fuzzy feeling you get can't be beat, lol. By the way, if the solenoid is powered by the switch or pcb, then that could be shorted, loose, or otherwise activated. Was it working prior to docs install? I'm not second guessing your skills, just saying maybe start from the beginning and recheck install, wire by wire. I'm a diesel tech, (occasionally), and have had to retrace my steps to verify and correct things I missed or overlooked. It happens. I hope you figure it out.

Yep, had no problems until the battery went south. Checking every connection from the beginning is what I intend to do, if I don't find it in the RH pcb or behind the battery cover. Hahaha, I would bet it is a screw-up of my own making. The odds the last few months haven't been in my favor ... but that is probably a bet I would win.

Ok, so it bugged the hell outta me all night .... I was out there at 4am this morning. I just couldn't get it out of my head. Found the problem .... and, yes ... it was my fault. I laid in bed and looked at DOC's schematic for an hour, until I seen something that made sense to me. I got the tag light & the silenoid wires crossed ... both were two wire male jst connectors and both about the same length ... BUT ... both clearly marked one Z and the other S. DAMN. I'm sure glad to get that off my back ! I have to give Jeff at DeadOneCustoms a big thank you for answering my emails so quick and trying to help me. I know they are busy as hell right now.

Hey John, were you able to take the bike out? I know the weather is against you guys in the Northern regions right now. Hope she rode like a dream.
No, haven't taken it out yet. I found an air leak on the shock, so I worked on that for most of the last week. Weather has been pretty nice here, I live on the Arizona strip ... but I'm at 5000' so the air is thin & cold. It's not bad once I drop some altitude, but damn if it's not cold for that 15 miles. I think tomorrow is my day if I can get the energy to adjust the rear wheel tonight. I noticed the belt is making a little more contact with the inside of the rear pulley than it is with the outside.

Well if you do get a chance to ride it, keep it on two wheels and enjoy. As far as the cold weather, I can't help you there. I complain when the Mercury dips below 65deg. here in Florida. Glad to here you're getting road worthy again though. Get strong and be safe out there.

Hey Chubs thanks ... Im still here, and still getting up. That is getting harder, but for someone with melanoma in three organs for over a year and stage IV for 8 years .... how can I complain ... 99% of those that started when & where I did are gone.
I'm losing this fight, been losing since it started ... and this may sound dumb, but I feel lucky as hell.
