Run/Start button failure and cleaning...

If you have the dreaded 'Start/Run' button failure (far left PIN), right hand side controls, check for corrosion UNDER the 6 pin plug and clean really well and carefully with electronics cleaner and a soft toothbrush before buying a new one.....this came out of @boomer4444 's 2005 Ridgeback....

And once fixed/cleaned cover it with Dielectric Grease!

No grease except on the connector pins...That PCB TRACE looks like it got hot and burn't off the green solder mask. If the copper trace is okay then just put some fingernail polish over the trace line to cover it over.

Fingernail Polish is an excellent idea...clear coat...haha!!
