Rattle Noise.... where it comes from????

Alright, a few days ago the Yellow-Bitch developed a metallic rattle noise... it comes from the right side... first I thought heat-shields are loose...Nope.

I still hear it in the right side and since yesterday´s ride it has become louder and very annoying... only on acceleration/deceleration... none on idle.

Heat-Shield discarded, they are tight and in place.... it sounds like from inside the Battery Box???? Can´t see anything loose.

Can it be the Motor? that would really worry me.

Ideas?

They are also nice & tight. the sound is very metallic/hollow (like if it was the heat-shields).

Trying to remember which pipes you have. I had similar noise a couple years ago. It was the rear exhaust bracket. Weld broke. Had it re welded, solved!

those are welded.

Have you checked to see that the welds are good? Maybe one is cracked and rattling around in the pipe?

If the welds were broken I would have no baffles.... they would be long gone!

Maybe just cracked, and if the weld is still in the pipe it could be stopping it from sliding out!

Going to try with a rod and see if I can feel any movement in there.

Thing is with the noise from the pipes is F..g hard to listen properly!

I thought about it too.... but I would swear it comes from under the battery box/right side. where the pulley is.

Nah... there are no rattle noises... just weird voices!
