Metzlers tire wear

Have about 5k miles on the metzlers front tire is bald and thinking about going back to the avon tires. Not really happy with the metzlers.

I've been using Metzelers ever since I owned my bike. They wear fast, no doubt. They also stick like glue, so I'll keep using them; replacing tires is a lot cheaper and less painful than going down in the middle of a 45 mph turn. And you've been on this site long enough to have noticed the numerous threads about Avons splitting, right? Sure you want to get into that mess?

When was the last time the fork oil was changed? After changing mine at 15K and seeing how disgusting the oil was, I have decided to change my fork oil every tire change and it made a big difference in the front end dribble/bounce

And if you run 20 or 30 wt.

Ordered avon cobras from Dennis Kirk today both front and rear for under 300. I know the issues but I have had good luck with the Avons! Going to change wheel bearings and fork oil to 30w to see if the ride improves
