Primary drain plug damaged

Does any one know how to remove the drain plug damaged? I am thinking to drain the oil trough the inspection plate with a transfer pump, also whats the gap that the primary chain must have? Half inch?

What "damaged" mean? About the primary chain.... everything is explained in the Service Manual.

Did you use an Allen wrench or a torx bit?

5/8" on the primary chain and to get the plug out I would remove the primary cover and drill a hole in it and use an easy out. With the primary cover off you can then adjust the chain properly, you can try it through the inspection cover hole but you really can't see the chain, you will be doing it by feel

I had the same drain plug issue. I got a long aluminum pan from Wally and placed it under the whole primary case. Loosed the bolts on the primary and cracked the seal. The juice all drained into the pan.

You could use a piece of tin foil wrapped on the frame under the primary cover for the oil to run into a drain pan also.
