I have 8900 miles on my 07 and they still look real good. What's the most anyone has gotten from there original pads? Just curious.
thing is slow, he's always going and never stopping so he shouldn't ever have to replace his pads.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:Thanks DV, you da man :2thumbs:If you use both brakes alot, you might get 15,000 miles out of them, it just depends on how and where you ride. IF most of your time is highway, the brakes last longer. street riding uses pads up quicker.
Hey DV, is there a better brake pad that lasts longer than the factory ones available out there? If you use both brakes alot, you might get 15,000 miles out of them, it just depends on how and where you ride. I bet Raywood can answer this one .. seeing how he wins the cast iron butt award!!

Yes to both.Hey Ray, that mileage you guessed at ( 22,000 for the front tire change) was that your first front tire change? Also was the rear brake pad change at 35,000 the first change out for the original factory pads as well?

Probably the drilled disc making the noise.I was wondering about that noise from my front wheem I though the brake pad had something caught in it but after putting on my chromed wheel it was still there so ti has to be the pads.
Hi Ray,I have changed out the pins in the floating rotors several times though!
Later,
Ray
